Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise privacy engineering and data protection across structured and unstructured data. You will shape strategy, architecture, and scalable PETs to safeguard sensitive information while enabling secure use of data across the organization.

Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, Product, and Data teams to translate regulations into practical controls, governance, and automated solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Privacy Engineering, Security Engineering, or related fields aligned to GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA.
• 5+ years building enterprise data protection: encryption, tokenization, DLP, PETs.
• 5+ years coding in Python/Java/Go and automating security in CI/CD.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional privacy or cybersecurity initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and implementation of enterprise data protection and privacy engineering.
• Design and deploy PETs like encryption, tokenization, anonymization, DLP.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, and compliance to apply privacy-by-design.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments, impact assessments, threat modeling, and control evaluations.
• Drive governance metrics, automation, analytics, and privacy program improvements.
