Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Privacy and Data Privacy Counsel to serve as the lead legal contact for privacy, cybersecurity, information governance, AI governance and emerging technologies in the US and the Americas.

The role requires JD, NJ/PA bar admission in good standing, and CIPP/US certification, with 5+ years in privacy, AI and data protection law. You will draft DPAs, advise on HIPAA, and help embed privacy-by-design across the business.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in PA or NJ in good standing.
• CIPP/US certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead legal contact for privacy, cybersecurity, information governance, AI governance, and emerging technologies.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage DPAs, cross-border transfer and vendor agreements, and privacy provisions.
• Advise on HIPAA, state and federal privacy laws and breach notification requirements.
• Lead DPIAs, data mapping, and governance initiatives across North America.
