Meta is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer, Analytics (Technical Leadership) to drive the data foundation and analytics strategy across multiple platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years experience in data warehouse space.
• 10+ years experience with ETL design, implementation and maintenance.
• 10+ years experience with object-oriented programming languages.
• 10+ years experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• 10+ years experience in authoring SQL statements.
• Experience analyzing data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies.
• Experience managing and communicating data warehouse plans to internal clients.

Responsibilities

• Proactively drive the vision for data foundation and analytics to accelerate cross-platform components across Instagram and define a plan to achieve that vision.
• Conceptualize and own data architecture for multiple large-scale projects, evaluating design and operational cost-benefit tradeoffs.
• Create and contribute to frameworks that improve logging data efficacy and triage issues with data infrastructure.
• Build cross-functional relationships with Data Scientists, Product Managers and Software Engineers to understand data needs and deliver on them.
• Define and manage SLA for all data sets in allocated areas of ownership.
• Determine and implement security model based on privacy requirements and evolve governance processes.
• Design, build, and launch collections of data models and visualizations across products or domains.
• Solve challenging data integration problems using ETL patterns and varied data sources.
• Assist in owning production processes and optimize code with advanced algorithms.
• Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to ease data artifact development.
• Influence product and cross-functional teams to identify data opportunities for impact.
• Mentor team members through actionable feedback.
