Job summary

DXC Technology Company is seeking a Lead Data Engineering Architect for Insurance to drive enterprise data strategy and cloud-native platforms. You will oversee data engineers and architects, shape data governance, and enable AI/ML initiatives across Life & Annuity, P&C, and specialty lines.

You will collaborate with product management, security, and business leaders to deliver scalable, reliable data solutions, emphasizing governance, security, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• MS degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 10+ years in Data Engineering/Architecture or related tech.
• 3+ years leading technical teams or large data initiatives.
• Experience delivering enterprise data platforms and cloud migrations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive enterprise data strategy and roadmap.
• Lead design of scalable data architectures supporting analytical, operational, and AI workloads.
• Guide data governance, metadata, and data quality initiatives.
• Lead cloud-native data platform engineering and automation (IaC, DataOps).
• Mentor teams of Data Engineers and Data Architects; drive best practices.
