Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Lead Data Migration Engineer to drive enterprise-wide data migration strategy and execution. This role requires leadership across multiple programs, guiding architecture decisions for ETL/ELT and overseeing the end-to-end migration lifecycle.

You will mentor engineers, establish data standards, and align cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data integrity and performance in large-scale environments.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in data engineering / migration roles.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale data migrations.
  • Strong governance, data quality and compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the data migration strategy and roadmap across programs.
  • Lead architecture decisions for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
  • Drive cross-functional alignment (Product, Engineering, Data, Business stakeholders).
  • Establish data standards, governance, and best practices.
