Job summary

Capgemini in New Jersey is seeking a Cloud Data Architect to design scalable data architectures on AWS and to build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics, BI, and ML use cases.

You will develop data lakes on S3, data warehouses on Redshift, and manage governance, security, and performance through CI/CD pipelines and IaC, working with cross‑functional teams in an onsite/hybrid setting.

Qualifications

  • Design scalable data architectures on AWS for analytics, BI and ML.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
  • Develop data lakes on S3 and data warehouses on Redshift/Snowflake.
  • Implement data quality checks and automated error handling.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures on AWS.
  • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data processing.
  • Develop realtime and batch ingestion pipelines.
  • Manage data lake/warehouse schemas, partitioning, and performance tuning.
  • Implement CI/CD for data workflows and IaC provisioning.
  • Apply security best practices, IAM, encryption, and data governance.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams.
