Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a QA/Test Automation professional to advance testing across distributed applications within an Onsite-Hybrid model (Day One Onsite) in multiple U.S. locations, including TX.

You will craft testing strategies, validate BI/ETL workloads, and build robust automation using RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, and TestNG. The ideal candidate brings strong Python programming and SQL skills, plus experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube) to

Qualifications

  • Experience in Agile development methodology and Jira tool.
  • Experience in testing distributed applications at multiple layers of the technology stack.
  • Hands-on experience in Test Management lifecycle.
  • Strong working knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle or DB2 or Postgres and experience with PL/SQL and complex queries, views, packages etc.
  • Experience in validating the BI Reports and ETL/ELT workloads.
  • Strong experience in Test automation design, development and execution using frameworks eg. RestAssured, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, TestNG.
  • Strong programming experience in Python and strong SQL skills.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD - GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, etc.
  • Experience designing test strategy and automation suites independently for a new product/application.
