Job summary

Baylor University is seeking an Assistant Director of Data Management to lead the day-to-day activities of the Data Management team and ensure biographical records stay accurate and up-to-date at Baylor.

You will coordinate data loads in the Blackbaud CRM (Vision) system, merge duplicates, and oversee seasonal projects while partnering with ITS and Advancement for automation opportunities and governance compliance.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience are required.
• Additional education or experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the Data Management team.
• Coordinate daily processes to the Blackbaud CRM (Vision) database, including student, parent and alumni data loads.
• Merge duplicate constituent data.
• Oversee seasonal data projects to maintain database accuracy and depth.
• Review data integrity reports and delegate cleanup projects to data management specialists.
• Collaborate with ITS and Advancement to identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
• Create and review data management documents to meet SOPs and governance guidelines.
• Coordinate with gift processing, prospect management and reporting teams on projects as needed.
• Perform all other duties to support Baylor’s mission.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
