Job summary

Ellevation Education seeks a Senior Product Manager for Data Ingest in Boston to lead data pipelines that bring rostering, EL program, and assessment data into our platform.

You'll partner with Engineering and Data Operations, shape the ingestion architecture, and translate complex data challenges into product outcomes for thousands of districts. 5–8 years in product management and a passion for data are required.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in product management.
• Passionate about data and data workflows. Experience with ETL data pipelines, data mapping and transformation, and comfortable digging in to troubleshoot or understand how data flows affects downstream users.
• Demonstrated success leading highly technical ETL teams, with a deep interest in how things work.
• Evidence-driven and curious. You leverage direct user discovery and can run data analyses yourself to ground problem framing in real user and business impact.
• AI-fluent. You've used AI tools - whether for data analysis, prototyping, or documentation - and you have a point of view on where they help in a domain like this.
• Organized and dependable. You follow through on commitments, flag risks and questions early, and deliver reliably even under real operational pressure.

Responsibilities

• Build an expert understanding of the data ingest ecosystem, data operations, and downstream product workflows.
• Establish high-trust relationships with DevPro, Data Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop domain expertise in the extract/transform/load architecture and data troubleshooting.
• Lead product learning and go-to-market activities aligned with outcomes.
• Influence and elevate across the organization by coordinating with senior stakeholders.
