Job summary

Ellevation Education is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Data Ingest to lead the data integration strategy that powers ELD workflows across 2,000 districts. You’ll own the ingestion layer, partnering with Engineering and Data Operations to transform raw, imperfect data into reliable, actionable insights.

You’ll guide discovery, set learning objectives, and work closely with senior stakeholders to align product outcomes with customer needs and business impact.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years relevant experience, including at least 3 years in product management.
• Experience with ETL data pipelines, data mapping and transformation.
• Demonstrated success leading highly technical ETL teams.
• Evidence-driven and curious; strong data-informed problem framing.
• AI tools experience (e.g., Claude) and applying them to product work.
• Effective in cross-functional teams and stakeholder alignment.
• Experience leading senior cross-functional stakeholders.
• Organized, dependable, and able to deliver under pressure.
• Experience in education, multilingual learner communities, or mission-driven work.
• Capable of querying data (SQL) and familiarity with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake.
• Basic data modeling familiarity; understanding SIS data/OneRoster is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build tooling that brings rostering, EL program, and assessment data into the platform.
• Ingest imperfect raw data and represent it effectively across 2,000 districts.
• Collaborate with DevPro, Data Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lead product learning, data analysis, and problem framing within the ingested data domain.
• Drive go-to-market delivery as a core part of releases, with internal teams trained.
• Develop a clear point of view on opportunities in the data ingest space.
