Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Data Governance to drive enterprise-wide governance programs, defining policies, standards, and controls to ensure accurate, secure data aligned with regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with legal, compliance, cybersecurity, and IT teams to implement governance frameworks, oversee data ownership, and champion best practices in data stewardship across domains. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enforce comprehensive data governance policies, standards, and procedures across the enterprise.
• Define and document data ownership, stewardship, and accountability structures across business domains.
• Establish and manage data governance frameworks, councils, and working groups to drive governance maturity.
• Ensure data is accurate, secure, compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and improve data quality through profiling, validation, and remediation.
