Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to manage enterprise-level data life cycle processes and oversee ETL/ELT pipelines. The role focuses on Palantir Foundry, data frameworks, and building scalable data solutions to deliver actionable insights across the enterprise, supporting the Unified Data Layer.

The position emphasizes data governance, ontology management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure clean, reliable data for decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years Palantir experience or Graduate Degree with 7+ years Palantir experience; in lieu of degree, 13 years Palantir experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Data Pipeline development or ETL tools (Palantir Foundry, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Python).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural oversight for the company’s data platform and initiatives.
• Assist architecture reviews with data modeling and solution design guidance.
• Lead design reviews for data sourcing, pipelines, models and ontology resources.
• Support SDLC by developing architectural artifacts and documentation.
• Review data architecture to ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversee data pipelines for scalability and performance.
