Reserv Claims Analysis, LLC is seeking a seasoned data engineer to design and maintain production data pipelines. You will model data for analytics, automate tests, and partner with teams to deliver trusted datasets.

The role emphasizes reliability, performance, and secure access across APIs, databases, and data warehouses. Candidate should demonstrate ownership, effective communication, and a practical approach as requirements evolve.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience designing production data pipelines and platforms.
• Strong SQL and Python, written and tested code.
• Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Understanding of dimensional modeling and data transformations.
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Dagster, or similar tools.
• Proven ability to improve data reliability with tests and monitoring.
• Comfort working with APIs, relational databases, and varied data.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines ingesting data from apps, APIs, and partners.
• Develop data models for analytics and downstream applications.
• Build automated tests, monitoring, and alerts for data quality and pipeline health.
• Collaborate with business and tech teams to define requirements and datasets.
• Improve pipeline and query performance while managing infra costs.
• Own production workflows: troubleshooting, backfills, and recovery.
• Apply engineering best practices: version control, code reviews, CI/CD.
• Document data sources, transformations, and access controls.
