Monk is an AI-native accounts receivable platform built for B2B companies, based in New York City. We are seeking our first dedicated data engineer to own Monk's entire data stack—from ingestion and architecture to telemetry, analytics and beyond.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building production data systems at a venture-backed startup as a data engineer full-stack data person.
• You scaled the system you built and owned its results.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage database ingestion, architecture, data modeling.
• Be the end-to-end owner for ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration workflows.
• Build monitoring, validation, and alerting for data workloads.
• Deliver data reporting for internal teammates and customer-facing products.
• Propose and ship new data integrations with internal and external systems.
