Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in the United States seeks a hands-on data engineer to own, maintain and expand the data infrastructure behind the Siding & Accessories analytics function. This is a technical role centered on SQL Server, data pipelines, and trusted master data.

You will manage the production database, ensure data integrity, and join external market data with internal sales and product data into a single, trusted dataset for dashboards and reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on SQL Server experience.
• Hands-on experience with JD Edwards (JDE).
• Proficiency with Python for data work.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the commercial SQL Server database — tables, views, stored procedures, data integrity, and performance.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries daily.
• Own the end-to-end data flow: source systems → SQL Server → Power BI, ensuring accuracy and validation.
