Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, CS, IS, Math or Engineering, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• Solid understanding of software development design and development.
• Experience with Spark on Snowflake or Databricks.
• Proficient in Python, Scala and SQL development.
• Experience building ETL data pipelines.
• Experience designing data models for relational, dimensional or NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of database testing methodology and scripts/tools.
• Familiar with Big Data formats (Parquet, Avro, Delta Lake).
• Experience with AWS, SQS, S3 and GitLab.
• Experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• REST API development experience.
• Tableau experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and testing of software applications.

• Independently design solutions impacting department delivery.
