Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
The Lead Data Center Technician is responsible for leading crews and performing structured cabling, fiber optic, and low-voltage infrastructure installations for large-scale commercial and data center construction projects. This role performs hands-on technical work including fiber splicing, cable and fiber termination, testing, troubleshooting, pathway installation, rack buildouts, and equipment installation while overseeing crews of 10 or more technicians. The Lead Data Center Technician coordinates labor, materials, safety activities, quality control, blueprint changes, and project requirements to support timely and accurate installations. The ideal candidate has extensive commercial and data center construction experience, strong fiber and structured cabling expertise, and demonstrated project leadership skills.
