Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer for the Data Center segment, based in Willimantic, CT or Lincoln, RI. The role requires leading new product development, aligning customer needs with Prysmian capabilities, and frequent interaction with industry groups and customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wire and cable products, data center applications, and leadership across cross-functional teams, with 20–30% travel to customer sites and conferences.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials).
• 5+ years of product development engineering experience.
• Wire and cable industry experience.
• Data center experience with cables/applications.
• Experience with UL, CSA and NEC standards.

Responsibilities

• Attend industry conferences representing Prysmian at data center events.
• Engage with customers and suppliers to capture needs and build relationships.
• Engage on cable specifications committees (UL, CSA, NEC).
• Connect market demand to product needs and opportunities.
• Lead the definition and development of new data center products.
