Meta is seeking aProduction Operations Engineer for its Data Centers, focused on hardware and Linux support. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling break/fix tickets and contributing to data center projects.

The role requires Linux and server hardware knowledge, plus strong communication skills, with on-call responsibilities once a month. Oregon-based, on-site position with visibility into scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Must have work authorization in the United States at hire and during employment.
• Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's or Master's in a technical field or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Linux and server hardware support.
• Experience in Networking, Scripting, Hardware, or OS repair.
• Strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Log handling of break/fix tickets and act as first contact for field techs.
• Assist with data center projects, retrofits, and process details.
• Debug hardware and Linux OS issues and document solutions.
• Help expand the global data center knowledge base.
• Support process improvements and data center best practices.
• Participate in monthly on-call rotation as needed.
