Job summary

Blueprint Technologies, LLC is seeking a Lead Data Center Operations & Systems Technician in Washington. This hands‑on role leads complex deployments, incident response, and documentation across servers, networks, storage, and cabling, while mentoring junior staff.

Onsite work in Redmond/ Totem Lake with a focus on safety, change control, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data center environments, strong TCP/IP and network skills, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center ops, infra engineering, or mission-critical tech environments.
• Advanced knowledge of server, network, storage, imaging, and deployment activities.
• Strong ability to lead deployments, incident response, and planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex installations, rack, stack, cabling, and decommissioning tasks across data center hardware.
• Serve as escalation point for hardware, software, imaging, and network issues; drive RCA.
• Review health, alerts, tickets, and logs; identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Configure switches, firewalls, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and device communication per change controls.
• Lead imaging and deployment, patching, and readiness; coordinate deployments with stakeholders.
• Plan complex installations, timelines, resources, and rollback criteria with clients.
• Mentor junior technicians; provide day-to-day technical direction and knowledge transfer.
• Represent data center ops in readiness reviews and cross-functional planning.
