Dexian is seeking a Data Center Energy Marshal V for a 6‑month contract in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on energy isolation, energization oversight and safety compliance for 115kV/35kV interconnection substations supporting a data center campus.

You will verify LOTO, review contractor plans, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure safe energization activities and regulatory compliance throughout construction and commissioning.

Formación

• 10+ years in electrical construction, commissioning or safety management.
• 5+ years on MV/HV systems and utility interconnection projects.
• NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910.269 and related safety standards knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee energy isolation and energization for 115kV and 35kV systems during construction, testing and energization.
• Review and approve contractor energization plans, sequencing and back-out procedures.
• Audit contractor LOTO processes and energy isolation compliance.
• Validate energy sources and protection systems are identified and controlled.
• Participate in readiness meetings and coordinate with engineers, utilities and GC teams.
• Prepare weekly reports on energization progress, issues and resolutions.
