Job summary

JLL is seeking a Chief / Lead Data Center Engineer in Charlotte, NC to oversee and perform critical infrastructure operations, including electrical and mechanical systems, control networks and safety systems. The role requires extensive hands-on expertise, strong communication with internal and external customers, and the ability to manage 24/7 operations for uninterrupted service.

The candidate should have experience with generators, UPS, ATS, switchgear, relays and building management systems

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a technical, critical environment operation.
• Must hold Operating Engineer or applicable licenses and a Universal CFC license.
• Ability to understand design and construction documents for critical sites and update drawings as required.
• Experience with Diesel Generator systems, UPS, ATS, switchgear and relays.
• Proficient in MS Office and email; good math/physics/chemistry knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work with customers.
