Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Design Manager to lead complex design scopes for data center projects across North America, including new builds, fit-outs, expansions and upgrades. Qualifications

• Typically 5–9 years of data center design experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, controls and architectural domains.
• Awareness of codes, standards and permitting processes.
• University degree in Architecture or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; US Citizenship; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design delivery for building systems and major packages.
• Lead external design consultants and coordinate with internal partners.
• Set design plans, deliverables, and decision dates with risk-based recommendations.
• Provide design reporting, assist with site due diligence and permitting.
