Job summary

Wesco, including its Ascent lineage, is seeking a Lead System Specialist (Controls & Automation) for data center environments in the Ashburn, VA area. You will test, commission, and diagnose BAS/EPMS systems, configure networks, and act as SME at client sites, while coordinating with vendors and project teams.

The role requires 4+ years in data center or controls work, with strong knowledge of BACNET/LON/MODBUS, TCP/IP, RS-485, and safety practices. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• BMS knowledge and BAS/EPMS familiarity.
• TCP/IP and RS-485 networking understanding.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical field preferred; relevant tech certs valued.

Responsibilities

• Test, commission, and diagnose BAS/EPMS systems across data centers.
