Job summary

Ramboll seeks a Lead Consultant to join our CST team in a hybrid, full-time role in New England. You will assist with data center due diligence, coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, and help manage scope, schedule, and budgets across multiple projects.

You will review conceptual plans, support site development evaluations, and prepare client-ready reports while collaborating with project managers and client teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years relevant consulting experience (civil/site development, due diligence, land development, multidisciplinary delivery).
• Experience supporting project management activities (scope, schedule, budget, meetings, action tracking, deliverables).
• Working knowledge of site development principles including grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, earthwork, permitting, and interpretation of concept plans and Civil 3D drawings.
• Strong technical writing, organization, communication, problem-solving, and client-service skills; CAD/Civil 3D/Bluebeam/GIS experience or EIT/PE credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers in delivering complex data center due diligence assignments; assist with scope, schedule, budget, staffing, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, maintain schedules, track actions, and provide status updates for timely execution.
• Support client meetings and communications by preparing materials, documenting decisions, tracking follow-ups, and contributing to progress updates.
• Review site development concepts, master plans, test fits, civil/site constraints, utilities, grading, stormwater management, permitting considerations, and other factors to support due diligence.
• Prepare and quality-review client-ready reports, risk summaries, proposals, work plans, cost estimates, and technical deliverables while supporting multiple projects.
