Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction operations for data center, distribution center, or light industrial manufacturing projects in Austin. You will manage safety, quality, schedule, and profitability while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel up to 20% may be needed.

Qualifications

• A minimum of seven years of relevant construction operations experience, with experience managing data center, distribution center and/or light industrial manufacturing construction projects.
• A bachelor degree, preferably in construction management, engineering or a related field.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% (travel).
• Effective communication skills to motivate your team, delegate tasks, and present proposals to clients with competence and confidence.
• The fortitude to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to construct a critical path project schedule using scheduling software; Primavera v6 used.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance and quality programs are executed on the project site.
• Actively participate in bidding and pre-construction services.
• Represent the team as the client's primary contact and communicate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Manage the performance of professional support personnel on the project site.
• Maintain budget control and keep the project on schedule for profitability.
• Execute subcontracts and purchase orders and process change orders and final payments.
• Mentor and train Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
• Lead initiatives in Safety, Quality, Lean Construction, and related programs.
