Job summary

The Office of the New York State Attorney General is seeking an Information Technology Architect 1 to serve as a Lead Data Architect within the Enterprise AI and Data Unit in the Information Technology Bureau. The incumbent will establish the foundational infrastructure required to advance the OAG’s data-driven mission.

This role will focus on ensuring structured and unstructured data can be securely accessed, governed, and analyzed across required platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SE, IT or related field and 4 years IT experience.
• 4+ years specialized in data management architecture, database design, governance, metadata management, data quality, warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data models of various kinds (ER, dimensional, OLAP).
• Plan and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
• Evaluate and develop enterprise data management software solutions.
• Document and record all architecture components and deliverables.
• Collaborate with OAG teams to implement enterprise data strategies and governance.
