Job summary

Secretariat is seeking a data analytics professional to support disputes and advisory matters requiring complex data work. You will analyze large datasets, identify relationships, and prepare expert reports for high-stakes legal and regulatory matters.

Collaborate with accounting, valuation, and technical teams, while guiding analytics tasks from data loading to results delivery. Prior experience in a fast-growing firm is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
• 4+ years applying analytics to disputes and advisory matters with large data sets.
• Strong relational database understanding and data source integration.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, R or similar languages for data manipulation.
• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (Databricks, AWS, BigQuery).
• Certifications such as CPA, CFF, CFA, CFE, ABV are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist data gathering and data quality checks from diverse sources.
• Organize and interpret data from banking, accounting, IT tickets, and other sources.
• Quantify damages and exposure using historical financial data.
• Prepare expert and rebuttal reports describing methodologies and results.
• Lead analytics aspects of engagements and coordinate with specialists.
• Communicate findings to clients and counsel; attend hearings as needed.
• Manage day-to-day requirements of multiple engagements.
