Job summary

Contact Discovery Services, LLC is seeking an Associate Director of Legal Data Analytics to design and implement client-specific AI solutions within eDiscovery. The role centers on Generative AI, ML, and actionable analytics across disputes and investigations.

You will lead technical strategy, drive AI governance, and partner with clients and internal teams to translate complex ML concepts into defensible, practical tools for litigation support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a data scientist, ML engineer, or similar technical role.
• Experience with eDiscovery platforms, Relativity aiR or eDiscovery AI.
• Expert-level prompt engineering, Python, data analysis, and ML concepts.
• Strong communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead ML & Generative AI strategy and execution (Prompt engineering, audits).
• Design AI auditability protocol and ensure defensible outputs.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimize models within workflows.
• Develop new AI tools and evaluate off-the-shelf solutions.
• Consult with clients and educate internal teams on AI usage.
• Define KPIs and report AI usage metrics to leadership.
