Job summary

Inspire Brands is hiring a Lead Data and AI Engineer for the Enterprise Data Organization to design, build and manage data pipelines and AI solutions at scale. You will mentor engineers, set technical direction and collaborate with product teams to deliver robust data platforms.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with ELT, cloud data stacks, Python, SQL, and modern AI tools, with on-site presence in Atlanta up to 80% as part of a globally coordinated data effort.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in a data engineering role.
5+ years of advanced SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, materialized views, and views.
3+ years of DevOps using CI/CD tools.
Experience with one cloud platform (Azure preferred).
Hands-on Python experience.
Snowflake experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead/guide multiple technical data engineering team members.
Design, build, maintain data platforms and AI solutions from concept to production.
Implement infrastructure as code and modern observability strategies.
Mentor engineers and promote craftsmanship across data teams.
Collaborate with product owners and architects to design data and AI jobs.
Develop and refine data processes (ingest, transform, store, quality).
Document technical artifacts for data engineering solutions.
Stay up-to-date with AI trends and integrate emerging technologies for performance.
