Riverside Veterinary Clinic in Haverhill, MA is seeking a credentialed Lead CVT to lead the treatment team and stay actively involved in patient care. You will help support workflow, training, and team accountability while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate brings leadership experience, strong small animal medical skills, and a collaborative approach to partner with hospital leadership for improved communication and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Current veterinary technician credentialing is required.
• Strong technical skills in small animal medicine.
• Surgery and anesthesia experience.
• Dentistry and dental radiography experience preferred.
• Confidence supporting doctors and teammates.
• Interest in training and mentoring others.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate appropriately.
• Positive communication style.
• Flexibility during periods of growth and change.
• Willingness to support both patient care and team operations.
• Saturday availability as part of the rotation.

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily treatment floor flow.
• Helping ensure doctors, technicians, assistants, appointments, and surgery patients are prepared for the day.
• Assisting with surgery and anesthesia support.
• Supporting dentistry and dental radiography.
• Performing technical nursing duties within credentialed technician scope.
• Helping train, mentor, and support technicians and assistants.
• Assisting with task delegation and follow-through.
• Helping create fair rotation of downtime tasks and daily responsibilities.
• Supporting team morale through positive, steady leadership.
• Partnering with hospital leadership to improve communication and workflow.
• Cross-training or assisting with front desk support when needed.
