Tender Care Animal Hospital in Peoria, IL seeks an experienced Lead Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to support surgery, anesthesia, and dental procedures. This role offers autonomy, trust, and collaboration in a fast-paced general practice environment, with emphasis on high-quality patient care from induction through recovery.

You will supervise anesthesia, assist in surgery and dentistry, and guide clients through admissions, discharges, and education.

Qualifications

• Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in Illinois.
• Experience with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and radiography.
• Strong client communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Support anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures.
