Qualifications

• 3+ years of veterinary technician experience.
• Active and good-standing Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of Illinois.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring.
• Strong dental prophylaxis and radiography skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical and dental procedure schedules.
• Calculate and prepare anesthetic medications and dosages.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia patients.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and dental radiography.
• Monitor patient recovery and ongoing procedural care.
• Guide clients through patient admission and discharge.
