Job summary

A licensed U.S. Customs Broker with strong knowledge of regulations is ideal for balancing leadership with hands-on entry work.

The Import Manager will serve as a technical resource, ensuring entries are processed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Customs Brokerage Operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, import procedures, and trade compliance.
• Experience reviewing customs entries for accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day customs brokerage operations to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of import entries.
• Participate in preparing and filing customs entries as business needs require.
• Review entry documentation for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance prior to submission.
• Monitor customs entry activity and ensure shipments are processed efficiently.
• Provide guidance and technical support to Entry Writers and brokerage staff.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and developing team members.
• Coordinate workflow and assign work to maintain balanced productivity across the team.
