Job summary

Chico's in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Lead Customer Specialist to deliver a welcoming, customer-centered environment and serve as Manager on Duty in the absence of another manager. You will lead the team and elevate the customer experience.

You’ll initiate authentic conversations, share product knowledge, build long-term relationships, and maintain a visually inspiring store that reflects Chico's hospitality and brand standards.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year retail experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays.

About The Role

As Lead Customer Specialist, your focus is on delivering a welcoming, customer-centered environment that reflects Chico's culture of hospitality. This role operates as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another manager, leading the team and elevating the customer experience.

• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.


• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork and collaboration.


• Build connections with the local community through events, outreach, and initiatives that expand Chico's presence.

• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
