Responsibilities

• Regular communication with the manager with two daily check-ins to review progress and plan next steps.
• Provide guidance, training and mentorship to employees and address issues.
• Inspect, evaluate and provide feedback to team members.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulations and safety guidelines.
• Participate in leadership and staff meetings to communicate objectives.
• Approve attendance and Web Time Entry.
• Assign relief custodians to cover absenteeism.
• Follow directions of the Manager.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Supervisor will be responsible for training and overseeing of the daily custodian operations in the academic buildings and dorms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of 1st & 3rd shift Custodians.
• Regular communication with the manager is required, including at least two (2) daily check-ins to review progress, address challenges, communicate needs or concerns, or confirm next steps for tasks or projects.
• Provide guidance, training and mentorship to employees and address employee issues.
• Inspect, evaluate and provide feedback to team members.
• Ensure all employees are adhering to company policies, industry regulations and safety guidelines.
• Participate in leadership and staff meetings to communicate objectives and share updates.
• Approve attendance and Web Time Entry.
• Assign relief custodians to fill in for absentee workers.
• Follow the guidance and direction of the Manager.
• Other duties, including special projects, as required or assigned.
