Responsibilities

• Open and close the building daily and ensure all doors, windows are secured.
• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, corridors, and restrooms to safe standards.
• Operate and monitor building systems for heating, ventilation, and lighting.
• Shovel, plow, or sand sidewalks and driveways as needed.
• Perform minor repairs and report major repairs to the supervisor.
• Ensure student and staff safety and respond appropriately to issues.
• Collaborate with other custodians and staff for events and coverage.
