Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, supervises, and participates in routine cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Instructs subordinates and sets expected performance levels in cleaning and grounds maintenance.
• Instructs on proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Maintains prescribed standards for plant, equipment, property, and grounds.
• Performs preventive maintenance and minor repairs on HVAC and related equipment.
• Supervises snow removal and ensures safety and security precautions.
• Arranges and rearranges rooms for community activities and assists groups.
• Transports and empties large trash containers and moves items weighing up to 50 pounds.
