Qualifications

• Read and understand cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills for district software, time sheets, and work orders.
• Communicate requirements clearly to staff and supervisors.
• Knowledge of minor repair techniques and facilities maintenance.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and lift heavy equipment.
• Basic math for chemical dilution calculations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise evening custodial staff and oversee daily duties.
• Maintain cleaning schedules for floors, windows, and restrooms.
• Keep buildings and grounds neat; manage sidewalks, parking, and play areas.
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Inspect machines and equipment for safety and efficiency.
• Organize facilities for special events and assist with opening/closing.
• Assist with inventory of supplies and ordering as needed.
