Job summary

University of Kansas seeks an Assistant Custodial Supervisor to oversee residential custodial staff, coordinate daily cleaning operations, and ensure safety and quality standards are met. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years custodial experience.
• Lead worker or supervisory experience or KU leadership coursework (STEP, Aspiring Leaders, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Supervise custodial staff, assign work, monitor workloads, and ensure schedules and standards are met.
• Perform daily custodial duties as part of the team, including cleaning and safety responsibilities.
• Assist with administrative tasks, staffing records, and communication with the Assistant Director.
