Job summary

The Lead Culinary Assistant role at Ebenezer’s Pillars of Hermantown in northern Minnesota supports Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care residents with dining room meal service. This full-time position includes a schedule of 80 hours every two weeks, weekends as needed, and full benefits.

Responsibilities include leading dining operations, ensuring sanitation, and coordinating Culinary Assistants.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience required.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED and 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and keeps the dining area clean and inviting.
• Oversees dining room tasks and assists Culinary Assistants as needed.
• Schedules daily tasks and ensures completion of duties.
• Accommodates dietary substitutions and resident requests.
• Trains and guides new staff, and communicates issues to the Culinary Director.
