Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) and CT certification by ARRT; state licensure if required by law.
• 2 years of experience.
• BLS CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date; BLS/CPR valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, initiates Computed Tomography or Radiologic images based on physician order.
• Safely administers contrast media or imaging medications while monitoring patient condition.
• Responds to and reports changes in patient condition.
• Implements techniques to yield image clarity and quality control according to established Radiology practices.
• May perform 3-D post processing and report scan results.
• Provides supervision and coaching to team members on productivity and quality management.
