Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered RT and CT with ARRT; registry eligible with completion within 12 months.
• BLS through AHA or ARC for the Professional Rescuer; current through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; assist with scheduling.
• Educate patient about procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure cooperation.
• Administer contrast media and/or medications within scope, as ordered.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes; perform safety checks and QC on equipment.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; select exposure factors and imaging parameters.
