Job summary

Lifespan is looking for a CT Scan Technologist in Providence, Rhode Island. This role involves performing CT Scan procedures, instructing Radiology students, and ensuring effective department workflow. The candidate should have experience in radiologic procedures and hold the necessary certifications.

The position offers an opportunity to work with various techniques and requires a detailed understanding of radiation safety and patient care across all developmental stages.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Ability to instruct Radiology students in clinical procedures.
• Knowledge of Radiation Protection principles including ALARA.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex radiologic procedures.
• Instruct and guide Radiology Technology students.
• Maintain department workflow for maximum throughput.

Education

Completion of an accredited program in Computed Tomography

Current CPR certification from AHA

RI state radiation license and CT supplemental license
