Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT registration in good standing required.
• CPR certification from AHA/BLS required.
• RI state radiation license and CT licensure required.
• Two years of formal Radiologic Technology training.
• Current RI DOH license to practice in Rhode Island.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and related equipment per procedures.
• Collect and complete patient data and records.
• Assess patient status and ensure safety during scans.
• Perform quality control, calibration tests and minor repairs as needed.
• Prepare contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Document results and maintain records for QA and compliance.
• Provide in-service training as needed and assist staff.
