Job summary

Rhode Island Hospital is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce high-quality radiographic images. You will verify patient data, administer contrast as needed, and monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and accuracy.

The role requires ARRT registration, CT licensure by the RI DOH, and CPR/BLS certification. You will join a team dedicated to patient-centered care and quality control across pediatric and adult populations.

Qualifications

• Meets basic knowledge requirements of a CT Scan Technologist.
• Must be ARRT registered in good standing and CPR-certified.
• Must hold RI state radiation license and CT supplemental license from DOH.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner and tests calibration to ensure proper operation.
• Collects and records patient data and charges.
• Performs contrast administration and monitors patient status during scans.
• Maintains QC records and coordinates with service personnel for repairs.
• Provides in-service education to staff and students.
