Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Senior CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and support imaging procedures with safety and standards in mind. This role includes acting as a lead when leaders are unavailable and assisting in orientation and training of staff.

Strong communication with patients and healthcare teams is essential. The position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to imaging protocols in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program with clinical hours completed.
• At least 2 years of CT imaging experience.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• ARRT CT certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic CT imaging procedures to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Serve as a lead in the absence of leadership and act as a resource for colleagues.
• Assist in orientation and training of staff and new hires.
• Maintain patient safety and imaging standards; communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
