Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time Days position with Wednesday-Thursday 9:30am-10:00pm and Friday 8:00am-8:30pm shifts.

The CT Technologist will operate and calibrate GE CT equipment, prepare and position patients, administer IV contrast and educate patients while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred
• Vocational School or Associate's Degree
• ARRT(R) Registered Radiography
• CRT Certified Radiologic Technologist
• BLS Certification Required

Responsabilités

• Perform high quality CT procedures per protocols and guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and perform routine maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists for optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records of procedures
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and safety protocols
• Educate patients about the CT process and answer questions

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity with shifts of Wednesday-Thursday 9:30am-10:00pm and Friday 8:00am-8:30pm.

Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities:

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements:

• Vocational School or Associate's Degree
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
