Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester seeks a CT Technologist to perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on safety and quality. You will independently set up equipment, position patients, and execute advanced CT protocols such as TAVR and Cardiac CTA while upholding patient privacy and comfort.

The role includes mentoring colleagues, managing departmental workflow, and supporting process improvements.

Qualifications

Must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Certified in ARRT-R and ARRT-CT with current credentials.
BLS certification required.
Minimum 2 years clinical and 1 year CT experience.
Strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
Proficiency in advanced CT protocols and quality control.
Knowledge of anatomy, pathology and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures with attention to safety and quality.
Set up equipment, position patients and execute CT protocols such as TAVR and Cardiac CTA.
Verify orders, administer contrast, and label studies accurately.
Review images for diagnostic quality and respond to emergencies as needed.
Mentor colleagues, manage departmental workflow and support process improvements.
Assist with equipment maintenance, quality control and documentation.
