Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist CT to perform advanced imaging procedures and ensure safe, patient-centered care. You will independently conduct exams, manage equipment, and post-process complex protocols such as TAVR and Cardiac CTA.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Certifications include ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, and BLS.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience with at least 1 year in CT.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; multitasking ability.
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and radiation safety.
• Ability to teach, mentor, and work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain clinical histories.
• Ensure patient identification, image quality, and proper labeling.
• Respond to emergencies, monitor patient conditions, and protect patient dignity.
• Operate imaging equipment, adjust techniques to minimize radiation dose, and maintain equipment hygiene.
• Perform advanced CT protocols and participate in quality control and departmental workflows.
• Mentor technologists, manage supplies, and support process improvements.
• Communicate clearly with patients and staff, providing instructions and addressing concerns.
• Assist in training, onboarding, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
